Latin/Classics Teaching

We offer personalised Latin tuition for students at a range of levels, from beginner through Common Entrance, to GCSE and A Level. Lessons are designed to help students develop a clear understanding of the language, focusing on grammar, vocabulary and translation skills. We also teach Latin literature, both as preparation for GCSE and A-level exams and as part of our focus on developing an interest in the wider Classical world.

With over 20 years’ experience of teaching Latin and Classics at all levels, we adapt our lessons to suit the needs of the individual student, while drawing on our wealth of experience in preparing students for Common Entrance, GCSE and A-level exams in the subject. Our aim is to help each student approach Latin with confidence, clarity and a sense of achievement, enabling them to succeed in their studies and develop a lasting love of the subject.
